Around The World
Being the mentor for a youth-led initiative that showcased exquisite cuisine from all seven continents. The young people engaged in a competitive cook-off, twice a week for four weeks, where they flexed their creative muscles and blew us away with the talent that was hidden within. In the first week we would demonstrate the skills needed to operate in the kitchen in a safe but fun manner and by the fourth week they utilised all of these skills to create a meal of their choice which was judged by local Youth Workers!

HAF
We have the pleasure of catering for the youth clubs in Newham and Lewisham in the half term. Due to these areas being known for its deprived nature, it gave us a chance to leave our footprint in the sand and provide meals for those who would go without otherwise.

Adult Learning
Not only is our founder, Jackie, an amazing chef but she also enjoys her time as a teacher and tutor at the Gainsborough Learning Centre where she shares her experience as a Caribbean woman, giving people from all backgrounds a taste of Jamaica. "I never knew how rewarding it could be to offer lessons to Adults with learning disabilities and I hope it's something that we can build on. It makes me smile to see how much they enjoy our lessons and the bond we build is inexplicable"
